The Circle Craft Christmas Market will return to the Vancouver Convention Center West from November 9-13 for its 2022 edition. A Vancouver tradition for nearly five decades, this year’s market will feature more than 250 artisans, including more than 65 are new this year! Jewellers, potters, clothing designers, wood and metal workers, glassblowers, candle and soap makers, and more will come together to share their wares at this beloved Vancouver event, which traditionally marks the start of the holiday shopping season in the city.

The Circle Craft Christmas Market attracts tens of thousands of people eager to discover the creations of hundreds of Canadian artisans, all selected by a jury based on their talent and diversity. Visitors will also experience artisan demonstrations and the Aspiring Artists Zone, where emerging artists present exciting and innovative new works. And for the first time since 2019, visitors to the market will once again be able to enjoy delicious food and drink samples in the Allée Gourmande, musical performances and the “shopping spree” competition.

The 2022 market will feature Canadian artists from coast to coast: BC artisans from communities such as Fort St. John, Gabriola Island, Gibsons, Kelowna, Pemberton, Port Alberni, Revelstoke, Vernon, Vancouver and Victoria will showcase the best of this market. Province. Artisans will also come from as far away as Catalone (NS), Edmonton, Mayo (YT), Niverville (MB), Ottawa, Pointe-Claire (QC), Quebec, Regina, and more!

Exhibitors this year include longtime favorites Alarte Silks (hand-painted silk scarves), Annie 50 (womenswear), Boogaloo Bubbywear (organic cotton and bamboo kidswear), Cedar Mountain Studios (blocks and wooden art panels), Joseph Chiang Art (jewelry and clay art), Matter Company (herbal skin care products) and Weila Suo (watercolors). New exhibitors include Hell Wench (contemporary ceramic dinnerware), Hip Chick Design (recycled eco-friendly clothing), Nuez Acres (pure pecan oil skin serums), Pacific Puzzle Co. (wooden puzzles ), Sadie & June (vintage hand-embroidered card prints), Spirits With Smoke (cocktail smoking boards and kits) and VEDRO Creative (silver jewelry).

Formed in the early 1970s, Circle Craft is a British Columbia-led artists’ cooperative dedicated to providing opportunities for artisans to connect with the community. Attendees will find members of Circle Craft exhibiting at the market. They can also learn more about the co-op itself at the Circle Craft booth. The first Circle Craft Christmas Market was held at the Cultch almost fifty years ago. Over the decades, the market has always retained its unique character and mandate to showcase high quality craftsmanship through the artisans themselves.

Hours: Wednesday to Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Saturday: 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.; Sunday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Admission: $15 adults; $12 seniors and youth (13-17); children 12 and under are free. Save 50% on admission after 5 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Your first ticket purchase entitles you to unlimited re-entry on any day of the 2022 show. Return passes will be available at the information booth.
